    To help build up your levels of Vitamin D to strengthen your immunity at this vital time it’s important to take a regular supplement. As this supplement is a very high strength of Vitamin D (also known as Colecalciferol) one capsule should be taken every two weeks or as directed by your healthcare professional. These easy to swallow capsules can be chewed or burst open, the contents are flavour free. HuxD3 should be taken with the largest meal of the day to ensure maximum absorption. 

    Vitamin D is a crucial vitamin for our health as it helps the body’s absorption of calcium and phosphate, which are essential minerals for healthy bones, teeth and muscles. During the spring and summer months, most people should usually be able to make enough Vitamin D through exposure to sunlight. However, with people spending more time indoors this year, this may not have been possible.  

    HuxD3 (Colecalciferol) Vitamin D 20,000iu is highly absorbable in an easy to swallow capsule. This supplement is peanut and soya oil free, gelatine free, licensed to carry the Vegetarian Society Approved vegetarian trademark, are Kosher and Halal certified and are alcohol, preservative and yeast free.

    Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied, balanced diet and healthy lifestyle. 

    Directions: take one capsule every two weeks or as directed by your healthcare professional. These easy to swallow capsules can be chewed or burst open, the contents are flavour free. HuxD3 should be taken with the largest meal of the day to ensure maximum absorption. 

    Do not exceed recommended dose 

    Ingredients: Halal & Kosher Certified Vitamin D3 EP 500mcg (10,000% RD) Vegetable Oil: Medium Chain Triglyceride, Vegetarian Soft Capsule shell (Hydroxypropyl Maize Starch, Plant Source Glycerol, Plant Source Carrageenan, Acidity Regulator: Disodium Phosphate), Antioxidant: BHT (E321). 

    Not to be used by children under 12, pregnant or breast-feeding women, unless advised by a health care professional  

    • Adults, including pregnant and breastfeeding women and the elderly, and children aged 11 to 17 years should not take more than 100 micrograms (4,000 IU) of vitamin D a day as it could be harmful. Any levels above this recommended level should be under Medical Supervision

    • If you are pregnant, breast-feeding, have a medical condition or are under medical supervision, please consult a doctor before use 

    • Do not exceed the recommended daily intake/dose 

    • Not suitable for Children 

    • Store at room temperature in dry conditions

    • Protect from light

    • KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN

    • Do not take if you are allergic to any of the ingredients

    Do not take Colecalciferol: 

    • If you are allergic (hypersensitive) to Colecalciferol or any of the other ingredients in the capsules 

    • If you have high levels of calcium in your blood (hypercalcaemia) or urine (hypercalciuria) 

    • If you suffer from pseudohypoparathyroidism (disorder of the parathyroid hormone balance) 

    • If you suffer from severe renal impairment If you have kidney stones (renal calculi) 

    • If you have high levels of vitamin D in your blood (hypervitaminosis D) If you already take other medicines containing vitamin D (e.g. multivitamin preparations) 

     Warnings and precautions talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Colecalciferol: 

    • If you suffer from heart disease or narrowing of the arteries 

    • If you suffer from sarcoidosis (a multisystem chronic inflammatory condition which can affect your lungs, heart and kidneys), then there is a risk of increased conversion of vitamin D into its active form 

    • If you are taking medicines containing vitamin D, or eating foods or drinking milk enriched with vitamin D 

    • If your renal function is impaired 

    • If you have a tendency to form calcium containing renal calculi

    • If you need additional calcium supplementation. Calcium supplements should be given only under close medical supervision
